Hi there, My name is Aven, and I am from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I started as a fashion designer when I first joined a Malaysian local fashion wholesale enterprise as a fresh grad back in 2009. From there, I began to learn hands-on experiences, including brand design, product development, production timeline management, manufacturing process, all the way to retail merchandise. 

 

Thirsty for more challenges and growth in my career progression, I relocated to Singapore.

 

My first Job in Singapore was as a Bridal Designer and Image Consultant. Then I chance upon an opportunity to have a leap of faith to join the Fashion Education Industry as a Fashion Lecturer. After six years working in the Education Industry, I was able to have my second leap of faith to my current role joining the Product Licensing Industry at the Magical World of The Walt Disney Company as Softline Creative, Assistant Manager.

When I'm not working, I enjoy drawing and listening to music or even exploring the next destination for me to venture. I love exploring culture by mostly travelling and occasionally a bit of reading. I believe creative thinking is the solution to most problems; I try to keep myself active with hobbies such as vibing to Lofy & Jazz music, travelling, stitching, and sketching.
